It was once a debated issue of the towering high heel but it seems shoe designers have found a way around it.  Sneakily, designers have taken the path less followed and removed the heel completely which has manifested into one of the latest shoe trends!  Jeffrey Campbell, Giuseppe Zanotti and Noritaka Tatehana to name a few have carved out the heels on many of their new shoes leaving the illusion of walking in air.  Some years ago I purchased a pair of Pour La Victorie shoes with heel cut outs (think backward heels) thinking I was being edgy but it seems that small bit of heel wasn’t edgy enough.
