My apologies for the delay on my event recap but I’m so excited to share that it’s also on!!!!

Fashion takes many forms. Whether we are outfitting ourselves, our homes, or our significant others, having a diversity of designers, designs, and shops to choose from is clutch.

As a blogger and self-professed fashion lover, I was delighted for the opportunity to partner with Katrina Parris of Harlem, New York’s NiLu. This contemporary casual lifestyle and gift shop proved the perfect venue for shopping, cocktails, and conversation with some of New York’s most savvy shoppers. Attendees included Founder and CEO of Think Big Think You Melissa Potter Forde and event planner Neakai Lewis who were able to shop from NiLu’s extensive collection of items for her, him, and more, while also browsing some of my very own wares.
For this occasion, I presented a mix of vintage and designer fashions ranging from hats and accessories to faux fur coats. Inspired by the seasonal changes, the shop’s hip Harlem location, and my desire to make fashionistas feel fabulous and comfortable with their own take on trends.
With most of the designers being Harlem-based, Katrina has done a fantastic job of building a shop with true rock star appeal. As an image consultant, stylist, and native New Yorker, I had a blast while assisting shoppers with selections that were out of their normal wheelhouse of fashion. I believe even the most simple pieces can be elevated to create looks that stand the test of time. I encourage you to stop by NiLu Harlem located at 191 Lenox Avenue, New York, NY and tell Kartina I sent ya! xx
