It’s almost summertime and it’s the tail end of Dani’s birthday month so let’s celebrate some Black Girl Magic, the less annoying cousin of Yasssss!!! Rather than run on about getting a glow, I wanted to celebrate the awesome ways the beauty industry is being re-shaped by and for women of color. You’ve heard of Doo Bop already and maybe you’ve read this NY Times profile of black local beauty businesses, but so much more is happening and I’m inspired!
